On Tuesday, May 13, 2008 - 285 of the North Shore's top graduating High School seniors from 27 High Schools will be recognized for their academic achievements at the Sheraton Ferncroft Resort in Danvers. The Honor Scholars rank in the top 5% of their graduating classes.
The students will be individually acknowledged and presented with awards in the presence of their parents and community leaders. The North Shore Chamber of Commerce believes that the foundation of good business is good education. Without achieving excellence in our schools we cannot achieve excellence in the workplace.
Business sponsors are needed! In order for this program to be successful, business sponsors are needed! Each year over 250 local Companies emerge as Sponsors. Each sponsor will be personally noted as the student(s) Sponsor at the dinner (1000 people), in the North Shore Business Journal (2500 people), in the Honor Scholars Evening Program Booklet (1000 people) and in numerous Email Releases to several thousand business leaders.
